Not necessarily a chase, as I never left my house for this one. The line of storms arriving from the North converged with the line of storms heading from the west as well as an outflow boundary coming in from the east. They all seemed to converge over west Norman.

I went out into my backyard and filmed with my phone. The audible sound of trees cracking and the whooshing sound I’ve heard around many tornadoes were prominent to my west. Power flashes lit up the sky multiple times as power lines came crashing down outside of my neighborhood. I jumped in the car to go see the damage.

As quickly as it came, it was out of here leaving flooding and a path of destruction all across Norman. The mesonet gusted to 92MPH and I was left without power. Luckily, OG&E was able to restore power for me by 430 in the morning. I never started my generator after returning home.
